We all know that taste in music can differ, also during the Eurovision Song Contest… Some countries give the highest points to the winner while other countries ignore the winning song.
In 1962 16 countries participated in the Eurovision Song contest, ten-member juries awarded points to their three favourite songs, giving their first placed song 3 points, their second placed song 2 points and their third placed song 1 point. The Netherlands, Denmark and Finland gave no points to the winning song Un Premier Amour, sung by Isabelle Aubret for France.
