Over the last few weeks viewers on the tv channel, S4C, have been searching for potential stars to represent Wales for the first time at the 2018 Junior Eurovision Song Contest. The contestants have been narrowed down gradually and last week we saw 12 young singers take to a stage in the Quadrant Shopping Centre in Swansea. This was to give the kids a taste of performing to the public.
Six singers were selected for the grand final of the 2018 Chwilio am Seren national selection to be broadcast on Tuesday 9 October in Llandudno in Wales.
Let us take a look at the finalists and their performances (all in the Welsh language and including a version of the winning ESC song of 2014 by Conchita Wurst – Rise Like A Phoenix) in Swansea –
