Valerie Hamati performed Rise Like A Phoenix (the 2014 Eurovision winning song for Austria by Conchita Wurst) on ‘The Rising Star’ Eurovision 2025 selection show in Israel. ESC Covers were alerted to this by Richard Isaac from the USA.

Valerie is from Haffa in Israel. She is an Arab Israeli singer with an Arab Christian Orthodox family. She previously participated in ‘The Rising Star’ in 2021 and finished in second place.
