Will Stefania represent Greece at the 2020 Eurovision Song Contest?

Rumours have emerged that Stefania is close to being revealed as the representative of Greece at the 2020 Eurovision Song Contest. This was the news circulated by OGAE Greece today.

Stefania has Greek background and actually represented the Netherlands as part of the all girl group, Kisses, at the 2016 Junior Eurovision Song Contest with Kisses and Dancin‘.

ESC Covers met up with Stefania at the Junior Eurovision in Malta in 2016. You can see photos below that we took.

Stefania releases new single ‘Turn Around’

Stefania has released a brand new single entitled Turn Around. It is a contemporary and upbeat dance song with a good production.

Turn Around is composed by Clifford Goilo, Catalina Schweighauser and Stefania. It is produced and mixed by Clifford Goilo for Goilo Music. The track is available to download or stream from most digital stores such as Spotify, Apple Music and Deezer.

Stefania was a member of the all girl band, Kisses, who represented the Netherlands at the 2016 Junior Eurovision Song Contest with Kisses and Dancin’. Now she is having all round success as a singer, actress and presenter.

Stefania has a Greek background and is rumoured to be an act that maybe considered for the Eurovision Song Contest.

Matheu to sing ‘Dans Met Jou’ for the Netherlands at the 2019 Junior Eurovison

Matheu has been selected to represent the Netherlands at the 2019 Junior Eurovision Song Contest. He won the Junior Songfestival with his song Dans Met Jou (Dance with you).

The four finalists were –

  • MovesMake Your Move 
  • MannesLet Me Sing
  • 6TimesEnd Of Time
  • MatheuDans Met Jou

The voting was a combination of adult jury, kids jury and televoting. Matheu gained the top marks from all three of the voting combinations.

2019 Euro stars feature on popular German tv show

Three acts from the 2019 Eurovision Song Contest have recently appeared on the popular German entertainment show ZDF Fernsehgarten.

First we had Luca Hänni (Switzerland) performing She Got Me.

Duncan Laurence (The Netherlands) performed his winning song of Eurovision 2019, Arcade.

We also got to see KEiiNO (Norway) perform the most voted song by the public at Eurovision 2019, Spirit In The Sky.

FIRST DUTCH SONG FOR JUNIORSONGFESTIVAL 2019

The first song from the forthcoming Juniorsongfestival 2019 has been released in the Netherlands.

The song is called Dan met jou (Dance with you). The singer is Matheu. It is a catchy upbeat pop song.

Dutch group OG3NE, who represented the Netherlands at the 2017 Eurovision song contest in Kiev with Lights And Shadows, covered the 1980 Eurovision winner, WHAT’S ANOTHER YEAR by Johnny Logan from Ireland.

The cover of What’s Another Year is part of the Beste Zangers Songfestival.

OG3NE are Lisa, Amy and Shelley. They are currently engaged in a long tour covering this year and 2019 in the Netherlands.

The Netherlands will be represented by Max & Anne at the 2018 Junior Eurovision Song Contest with ‘Samen’

The Netherlands have selected Max & Anne with the song Samen (Together) for the 2018 Junior Eurovision Song Contest to be held in November in Belarus.

Four finalists were in contention for the 2018 Junior Songfestival –

  • AnnaTouch Each Other’s Heart
  • Kiya Butterflies
  • Max & AnneSamen
  • REMIXWhat Girls Do

The voting was 33% professional jury, 33% kids jury with the Fource and 34% public voting.

Fource release new single ‘Niemand’

The four member boyband Fource have released their brand new single entitled Niemand (No one). Jannes, Niels, Max and Ian make up the Fource. The song is composed by Joost Griffioen and Christiaan Hof.

Fource represented the Netherlands at the 2017 Junior Eurovision Song Contest with Love Me.

Today is the day of the grand final of the Junior Songfestival 2018. We will soon see who will represent the Netherlands in Minsk, Belarus in November.
