Polina Gagarina sang A MILLION VOICES at the 2015 Eurovision song contest for Russia. Litesound (who represented Belarus in 2012) teamed up with ALEX KOLCHIN and covered the song but also in English.
Inis Neziri recently impressed many with her performance in the Festivali i Këngës 56 national selection in Albania. She performed the beautiful ballad Piedestal and finished in the top three.
Inis has covered the 2015 Russia Eurovision Song Contest by Polina Gagarina, A Million Voices. Again we hear a sample of the powerful and clear vocals of Inis.

Polina Gagarina returns with a brand new song entitled Obezoruzhena. The song builds in to an upbeat pop song with a strong production and show cases Polina’s powerful and clear vocals.
Polina represented Russia at the 2015 Eurovision Song Contest with A Million Voices in finished in second place.

This week the first CD of Liezel Pieters has been released by SONY SOUTH AFRICA. It is called SING MY HART UIT.
On the CD are 14 tracks plus one medley. The medley is a Bonnie Tyler medley and the 3 songs are Bitter blue, Lost in France and It’s a heartache.
The CD also features an Afrikaans version of the huge Helene Fischer hit Atemlos – called Asemloos.
The big track is an Afrikaans over of the 2015 Russian Eurovision entry, A MILLION VOICES by Polina Gagarina. It is called MILJOENE DRUPPELS (Million drops).

For the first time there is a new festival in Baku, Azerbaijan featuring many Russian and Azeri singers including many acts from Eurovision. It was a two day event held at the Sea Breeze recreation centre. The organisers of the event were international recording artists from Azerbaijan, Emin (he performed during the interval at the Eurovision final in Baku in 2012), Grigory Leps and Sergey Kozhevnikov (both stars from Russia).
Amongst the acts to grace the Zhara Fest stage were Polina Gagarina (2015 ESC Russia), Ani Lorak (2008 ESC Ukraine), Alexey Vorobyov (2011 ESC Russia), Tomas N’Evergreen (2010 ESC Denmark), Svetlana Laboda (2009 ESC Ukraine), Filip Kirkorov (1995 ESC Russia) and Samra (2016 ESC Azerbaijan).
