Nicole Hammett performs unique version of ‘Flower Of The South’ at Maratona Volleyball 2018 event in Malta

Nicole Hammett gave a charming and unique performance of the song Flower Of The South at the Maratona Volleyball 2018 event in Malta. She performed with the Malta Police Band and Nicole only had two days to learn the song.

Flower Of The South was the 2007 Slovenia Eurovision entry by Alenka Gotar. The song was perfect for Nicole’s distinctive and special operatic voice. She did an amazing job to adapt her vocals to the pop/opera song with the brass band orchestra of the Malta Police Band. Nicole is particularly grateful for the help given by Maestro Superintendent Anthony Cassar for giving her this opportunity.

Nicole is an emerging big talent from Malta and can adapt her voice easily from opera to pop and rock. She recorded a beautiful version of the 2018 Estonian Eurovision entry La Forza by Elina Nechayeva and filmed a special video clip to accompany the song. Elena herself gave great praise to Nicole’s interpretation and vocal performance and of course the excellent and delightful music video.

Nicole would also like to say thank you to her vocal coaches Danica Muscat, Joshua Alamu and Joseph Chircop, Harmonic Ensemble Mosta and also Ritienne Azzopardi, Debbie from Twenty Two for her dress, and Clint Galea.  Also, to Nigel Mifsud for the video editing.

Nicole Hammett recently recorded her outstanding version of La Forza (the 2018 Eurovision finalist song of Estonia by Elina Nechayeva). She also filmed an amazing video clip for the song.

This week Nicole appeared on a tv charity show Maratona B’Risq il-Missjoni 2018 in Malta and performed La Forza.

Nicole Hammett shows her all round versatility for singing and dancing at Mrs Malta show

Nicole Hammett is an outstanding young singer from Malta who can easily switch from pop to opera to rock and other genres of music. She again showed her versatility as an artist by performing at the Mrs Malta show by Ivan Gaffiero. Nicole performed two songs and also showed her dancing skills are pretty cool too.

Nicole performed a singing and dancing routine of End Of Time by Beyoncé. You can see in the video that she is really enjoying every minute of the performance. Then Nicole treated us to a version of No More Tears (Enough Is Enough) by Donna Summer & Barbra Streisand. Again she demonstrated powerful and clear vocals.

ESC Covers recently reported about Nicole recently recording a wonderful interpretation of La Forza, the Estonian 2018 Eurovision song by Elina Nechayeva, and she also filmed a magnificent video clip for the song filmed in Malta.

Nicole Hammett is a very promising pop/opera/soprano singer from Malta. She has just covered the 2018 Eurovision Song Contest entry of Estonia, La Forza, by Elina Nechayeva.

Nicole has done an amazing version of this operatic pop song. Her vocals are crystal clear with lots of emotion in her voice.

Nicole has produced a splendid and colourful video clip for the song. It is beautifully shot and Nicole looks charming and delightful.

Congratulations to Nicole and everybody involved in this fabulous project. I am sure we will be hearing a lot more of Nicole in the future.

ESC Covers recently told you about the exciting pop/opera singing talents of Nicole Hammett from Malta. She has recently enjoyed success in various festivals and competitions.

Nicole is currently taking part in The Entertainers – Singing Challenge on Net tv in Malta. She recently performed the classic Con Te Partiro by Andrea Bocelli. It was also a big hit duet with Sarah Brightman as Time To Say Goodbye. Nicole’s powerful and clear pop/operatic vocals do justice to the evergreen song.

More success for Nicole Hammett in Malta

Recently ESC Covers reported about the young and talented singer, Nicole Hammett, from Malta. Now she is having more success that we wanted to tell you about. Nicole has just won the Grand Prix with the highest marks from all contestants in a festival by Diamond Productions.

Nicole sang the operatic aria Sempre Libera from La Traviata by Verdi. She has a unique voice where she can adapt from operatic to rock and to pop. Nicole is thankful to her vocal coaches Danica Muscat (who is one of the 2018 Malta Song For Europe finalists again), Joshua De Cadeneux and Joseph Chircop.

In addition to the success with the Grand Prix, Nicole has advanced to the semi-final stage of The Entertainers – Singing Challenge on Net tv in Malta. She performed Phantom Of The Opera.

Nicole Hammett is a new name to us here at ESC Covers. But she is certainly a young singer from Malta to look out for. She can comfortably sing and merge the styles of classical and opera/soprano with pop and ballads and rock/pop music with outstanding vocals and technique.

Her first music video was for the release for her song called Start Over and it reached 345,000 views in just a week when first released. The single went all the way to number one in the Bay Radio charts in Malta and stayed there for three weeks and eventually it was a top ten seller for the whole year of 2017.

Nicole has great ambitions to be not only a pop star but also to perform in musical theatre. I am sure she will achieve a lot of her goals and maybe one day we will see her on the Eurovision stage also.

Next we see her sing Ti Siento (by Matia Bazar) and MacArthur Park (originally by Richard Harris but this version more like the Donna Summer dance version with some operatic vocals).
