Nicole Hammett has had a great success at the La Bussola competition in Italy. She won first place in Bussola covers category with her version of the Aretha Franklin classic, Think. She also won third place in the original song category singing in Italian.
Nicole Hammett has released the full Maltese version of A Lover’s Heart (her song from The Malta Eurovision Song Contest 2022 national selection). It is entitled Minn Qalb Għal Qalb.

Nicole Hammett made a welcome return with an outstanding performance of her song Uman (Human) at the L-Għanja tal-Poplu 2021 festival in Malta. Nicole gave a passionate performance together with the orchestra and Kathy Cordona, the violinist who joined her on the stage.
Nicole Hammett gave an amazing audition in Malta’s Got Talent, where she impressed the watching judges with her unique performance of mixing opera with rock! From opera to Highway To Hell in a flash!
As ESC Covers have reported before that Nicole can easily adapt her powerful opera vocals to rock and pop!! This riveting performance earned Nicole a Golden Buzzer, which takes her direct to the live finals.
Nicole recorded much acclaimed covers with music videos of Zero Gravity (Kate Miller-Heidke – ESC 2019 Australia) and La Forza (Elina Nechayeva – ESC 2018 Estonia).

Nicole Hammett has had more wonderful recognition and success by winning the SONATA OF THE STARS (previously known as Kaunas Talent, Lithuania). The festival was held online this year because of the current world health situation.
Nicole also gave a very impressive performance at the Konkors Kanzunetta Indipendenza 2020 in Malta with her dramatic and passionate song Eku by Emil Calleja Bayliss and Mark Spiteri Lucas.

Nicole Hammett will soon participate in two important competitions in Malta. She will sing Eku in the Konkors Kanzunetta Indipendenza 2020 festival. Nicole will also participate in Malta’s Got Talent.
Eku is composed by Emil Calleja Bayliss and Mark Spiteri Lucas. The song is a powerful and emotive production with charming vocals by Nicole.

Nicole Hammett has been busy during the ‘lockdown’ and has had many big successes at various international online festivals.
Nicole won first place awards in all the categories in the Golden Voice International Contest 2020.Also, she won the adult Grand Prix runner up prize in Golden Voice 2020
Other festival prizes included the Grand Prix Runner Up award at the Good Vibes International Festival. The top prize in the online International Festival Lemari and runner up prize at the Rain Star Cup Festival from Germany.
In the competitions the songs Nicole performed were No More Tears (Enough Is Enough) (Donna Summer & Barbra Streisand), Zero Gravity (Kate Miller-Heidke – 2019 ESC Australia), La Forza (Elina Nechayeva – 2018 ESC Estonia), Grande Amore (Il Volo – 2015 ESC Italy), MacArthur Park (Donna Summer), La Voix (Malena Ernman – 2009 ESC Sweden).
During the ‘lockdown’ Nicole also gave many home online concerts.

In these difficult times when we need to stay home an event to cheer us up on Saturday 28 March from 7pm (CET) is a special quarantine concert by Nicole Hammett from Malta.
Nicole will sing live a few songs to try and get everybody in a more positive spirit. She says “During all that’s happening to the world right now, I wanted to spread some positivity while also entertaining you during quarantine ☹ So join me next Saturday the 28th on Facebook live at 7pm onwards. I will sing a few songs live for the people watching me…hopefully I will bring some positive vibes during this pandemic.”
Nicole is a very talented young pop/opera singer and amongst her recordings she has made first class cover versions of Zero Gravity (2019 ESC Australia) and La Forza (2018 ESC Estonia).

Nicole Hammett performed a special guest on Italian tv at the final of the #jèsopazzo festival Fiuggi.
Nicole sang a medley of songs in the Italian language. She sang the operatic aria Sempre Libera and also Dimmi come, which is an upbeat pop song.
Nicole, from Malta, again proved her versatility mixing pop with opera and performing impressive singing and dancing at the same time. This included a costume change in the middle of the performance.
