SEMI FINAL ONE – HUNGARY
We are continuing with Ida Andia from Romania’s predictions who will make the final from semi final 1. Today is the turn of Hungary.
Joci Papai has a nice voice and a unique style to perform on the stage. I like this singer because he sends emotion. I liked the 2017 entry of Hungary, Origo, who was in TOP 10 in Kyiv. I like that he sings in Hungarian. His song for this year is called AZ EN APAM. The lyrics of his song really touches the soul (if you are interested what he sings about). I really think he could be again high in the Grand Final. Joci is one of a couple of artists returning to the Eurovision stage this year.

Joci Pápai returns to the Eurovision Song Contest representing Hungary with the song Az én apám (My father).
Joci won the grand final of the 2019 A Dal national selection.

Joci Pápai releases new song ‘Kirakós’
Joci Pápai returns with a brand new single and video clip. The song is entitled Kirakós (Puzzle).
The music video shows Joci’s journey from the 2017 A Dal through to the Eurovision Song Contest in Kiev and music awards later.
Joci is currently one of the most respected artists in Hungary. He represented Hungary at the 2017 Eurovision with Origo.

PROMO SINGLE – HUNGARY
The Hungarian delegation brought a fantastic Rubicube as part of their promotion for their 2017 Eurovision entry ORIGO by Joci Papai and also had a memory stick with photo’s. There was, however, no promo single. Once again, ESCCovers took the initiative and had one designed for our library.
Joci Pápai releases new song ‘Özönvíz’
Joci Pápai has released his brand new single entitled Özönvíz (Flood). It follows up his successful Eurovision song for Hungary this year Origo.
Özönvíz is in a similar ethnic style to Origo. The song is composed by Joci Pápai, Ferenc Molnár “Caramel” and Gergő Szakács with instrumentation by Joci and Dániel Somogyvári.
