HAPPY 50th BIRTHDAY TO BIG MOSCOW CIRCUS – GRAVITY – ZLATA OGNEVICH

The Great Moscow State Circus was opened on 30th of April 1971.  It was designed and built under the guidance of I. Belopolsky. Its impressive auditorium is an enormous 36 meters tall and can seat up to 3,400 people. So in just over two months time, it will celebrate its 50th anniversary.

Dana Rogovski is a talented singer from Moldova and she has recently teamed up with the Invaders for a new dance track called Gravity. Dana’s crystal clear vocals shine on this garage inspired track that will sound great in the clubs.

Dana is a versatile singer and has previously tried for the Moldovan Eurovision selection. She has studied in France and has taken part in many festivals internationally and also participated in the X Factor Romania.

STOPLIGHT ON SA ARTISTS – ZAKK STYLES

Zakk Styles (Age 29), a guitarist, singer, tv presenter, song-writer, producer and audio engineer has been intimately involved in the South African music arena for over 16 years through his various musical projects and ventures. A classical Guitar trained student of the Berkley College of music he is currently fronting the hard rock band – Black Bone Nation as well as his latest indie/folk band – Arcadia. Staying involved in the advancement of emerging bands in South Africa he co-created the artist feature show – The Couch Sessions SA, where he also acts as presenter for the show.

His achievements are  Various TV show appearances (YoTV, SABC Shows) – Various radio appearances (Eden AM, The Dave Darren Show) – Classical Music Studies Graduate – Presenter/Writer/Producer/Owner for The Couch Sessions SA – Singer/Guitarist for the band – Black Bone Nation – Singer/Guitarist for the band – Arcadia – In studio with the band Black Bone Nation recording their first studio album – “For Pride & Glory” (Release – 2018) – In Studio with the band Arcadia recording their first single -“Going South” (Release – 2017) – Currently working on filming of Season 2 of The Couch Sessions SA (Release 2018) – Various live show performances across Gauteng – South Africa.

He will be doing his first Eurovision cover shortly and it is the 2017 entry from Cyprus called GRAVITY, originally sung by Hovig and composed by Thomas Gson.

Thank you so much for everyone who voted in our search for our favourite Eurovision song for ROW.  A staggeringly brilliant 55 people voted!!!
We have our 60 songs for round two!
This is going to be tough…
