MARY ROOS represented GERMANY at the 1984 Eurovision song contest with AUFRECHT GEH’N. She covered a 1980 hit of Barbara Dickson JANUARY FEBRUARY in German and called it WENN ICH DICH NICHT HALTEN KANN. It is the 6th song in our series where we look at Eurovision artists covering NON EUROVISION hits.
When we started the project of picking 100 Ralph Siegel songs we looked at all 500 plus we have on CD/vinyl and then selected the 100 to feature in posts. Unfortunately song 21 we cannot find on youtube at all – really have no idea why TINGEL TANGEL MANN by HARMONY FOUR is not there since it was a selection song in 1984 in Germany.
