Alekseev has released Nazavzhdy (Forever) which is a Ukrainian version of Forever, the song he represented Belarus with at the 2018 Eurovision Song Contest.
Belarus’ Eurovision broadcaster BTRC has been expelled from the European Broadcasting Union. This rules out a Belarusian participation in Italy 2022 and makes Belarus’ return to the Eurovision Song contest and the Junior Eurovision Song contest extremely unlikely.
I see Alekseev (who is from Ukraine but represented Belarus at the 2018 Eurovision song contest) with Forever and KAZKA (band a lot of fans want to represent Ukraine) recorded an English version of their hit released last month. The English is called TILL THE END OF TIME.
Since Monday 28 September, the ESC COVERS website (with our partners Eurovision coverage, EuroVisionMusic, Destination Eurovision and the radio station x5 stereo) started promoting the COVER2COVER concept. It is not a competition anymore but a promotion platform and hopefully South African artists will send covers to us. The 3 entries we received, Helena, Anton and Marle, will be carried over to the coverage. Victor Bush is once again our model and he will be holding promo items, CD’s and bags of some of the entries from the Eurovision song contest. The ninth one is of BELARUS 2018. It is the bag and promotional CD of ALEKSEEV with FOREVER.
ALEKSEEV who represented Belarus at the 2018 Eurovision song contest in Lisbon has a new song and video out called KAK TY TAM and already over 2 million people watched it.
Alekseev gave a concert in Minsk at the Palace of Republic. His special guest was Ani Lorak, who represented Ukraine at the 2008 Eurovision Song Contest with Shady Lady.
Alekseev and represented Belarus at the Eurovision in Lisbon earlier this year. In the concert he sang the Russian version of his entry Forever.
Alekseev has been selected to take part in the national selection in Belarus with his song Forever. Now the track has been officially released via most digital platforms such as iTunes, Apple Music and Spotify.
Forever is already a big favourite with fans and the more you hear the track it consistently grows on you.
However, there may be an obstacle to overcome yet. There were some suggestions the songs may have been performed in the Russian language earlier and may have broken some rules. We will see what happens with that but as it stands at this moment if Alekseev was to win the national final then Forever could do very well for Belarus.
Alekseev is a big star in Russia, Ukraine and Belarus and he was the winner of The Voice in Ukraine in 2014.
