Madame Monsieur have won the grand final of the 2018 Destination Eurovision selection with their song Mercy and therefore will represent France at the Eurovision Song Contest in Portugal in May.
The eight acts and songs that competed in the final were –

Emmy Liyanna – OK ou KO
Madame Monsieur – Mercy
Lisandro Cuxi – Eva
Max Cinnamon – Ailleurs
Nassi– Rêves de gamin
Malo’ – Ciao
The voting was a combination of jury and televoting.

The five finalists are now known for the Eurovision selection part of Operación Triunfo in Spain. The lucky finalists are Amaia, Miriam, Alfred, Aitana and Ana Guerra.
There will be nine songs which will be five individual songs by the finalists plus three duets (including a duet including wildcard act, Agoney). One other song is a group song for the five finalists together called Camina, which has already been performed on the OT Christmas Gala show by all of the participants but will be adapted for the five finalists.

The show will take place on 29 January to start the process of who will represent Spain at the 2018 Eurovision Song Contest in neighbouring Portugal.

The local broadcaster, GPB, have announced that the band Iriao will represent Georgia at the 2018 Eurovision Song Contest in Portugal in May.
Iriao are known as being a jazz type band with ethnic influences. There are seven members in the band so, unfortunately, one of them will not be on the stage in Lisbon.
You can see a video clip of Iriao performing below. The song for Eurovision will be confirmed in the near future.
Jessica Mauboy has been selected to represent Australia at the 2018 Eurovision Song Contest in Portugal. The much respected artist and former Australian Idol runner up was announced by the broadcaster SBS.
Jessica has had many hits in Australia including Burn, Pop A Bottle (Fill Me Up),Never Be The Same and Can I Get A Moment? She is also an actress and recently appeared in the popular series The Secret Daughter.
Jessica has already been on the Eurovision stage as an interval act in the 2014 Eurovision Song Contest which eventually paved the way for Australia to take part in the contest.

Spain will select their 2018 Eurovision Song Contest entry from the revived and popular tv show Operación Triunfo.
From the magnificent times of 2002 when Rosa sang Europe’s Living A Celebration, 2003 with Beth and Dime and Ramón in 2004 with Para Llenarme De Ti, when these songs were selected from the popular show.
Let us relive those memories below and hope for a great Spanish entry in 2018.
Cesár Sampson has been selected to represent Austria at the 2018 Eurovision Song Contest in Lisbon, Portugal. The local broadcaster decided on an internal selection to pick their entry again.
Cesár is a vocalist, songwriter and vocal producer. The song choice will be announced at a later date.
There is not a lot to show you just yet but you can see a brief performance of his singing below as he has been in background of events in recent years.
Nicole Azzopardi is the young and talented singer from Malta and she has now entered the race to represent San Marino at the 2017 Eurovision Song Contest and earn a record deal via the online competition at 1in360.
Nicole has submitted the charming Italian song Dimme Come and the video showcases her charming and clear vocals.
Nicole represented Malta at the 2010 Junior Eurovision Song Contest with Knock Knock…Boom! Boom!
