Mariette has released her latest single and it is called The One That Got Away. The track is a gentle and sweet ballad.

Mariette has participated four times in the Melodifestivalen selection in Sweden. In 2015 she sang Don’t Stop Believing, 2017 she had A Million Years, 2018 was For You and in 2020 she sang Shout It Out.
The second semi-final of the 2017 Melodifestivalen took place in Sweden with seven acts competing and two directly going to the final and two more having a second chance in the Andra Chansen.
Lisa Ajax will take part in the 2017 Melodifestivalen in Sweden with I Don’t Give A and she also participated in 2016 with My Heart Wants Me Dead. Lisa has just released a song for the festive season of 2016 entitled Santa Bring My Baby To Me. It is a catchy and upbeat song that will get everyone in the party mood.
Lisa was the winner of the 2014 Idol tv show in Sweden. There she proved her versatility as a singer performing different styles of music and showcasing her smooth and clear vocals.
SVT this week announced the 28 acts competing in the 2017 Melodifestivalen semi-finals.
The acts include two former winners of the Eurovision Song Contest, Loreen (2012) and Charlotte Perrelli (1999). Roger Pontare (1994, 2000) and Krista Siegfrids (Finland 2013) also return and we see Lisa Ajax and Robin Bengtsson return from last year.

The winner of the 1999 Eurovision Song Contest for Sweden, Charlotte Perrelli (or Charlotte Nilsson as she was known then with Take Me To Your Heaven) will take part in the 2017 Melodifestivalen in Sweden according to the Aftonbladet newspaper in Sweden. Charlotte also participated in the 2009 Eurovision Song Contest with Hero.

The first act confirmed to participate in the 2017 Melodifestivalen in Sweden is the indie rock band Les Gordons. They were selected via the Swedish radio competition Svensktoppen Nästa.
Les Gordons are from Orebro and consist of Jonatan Renström, Albert Björliden, Carl Ragnemyr, Andreas Persson and David Runebjörk. Whilst we await their Melodifestivalen song in 2017, the band have just released their brand new single entitled Need To Feel and is written by the band themselves.
