Russia has selected 14 years old Sofia Fisenko to represent them at the 2016 Junior Eurovision Song Contest in November to be held in Malta. The song is entitled Zhivaya voda (Living water).
Philipp Kirkorov (ESC 1995 Russia) made the announcement at the national selection held in Crimea. 16 acts competed and voting was a combination of expert jury and internet votes.
Armenia have decided two girls will represent them at the 2016 Junior Eurovision Song Contest in Malta in November. They are Anahit Adamyan and Mary Vardanyan.
The song will be revealed later in the year.

FYR Macedonia have selected the promising and respected singer, Martija Stanojković, to represent them at the 2016 Junior Eurovision Song Contest to be held in Malta on 20 November. She is 12 years old and is from Kumanovo. Martija recently earned popularity in the Pinkove Zvezdice (Pink’s Star) competition. She finished in a highly respectable second position.
You can see Martija perform the song Najgora (The worst) on Pinkove Zvezdice below. Her JESC song will be announced at a later date.
Malta recently held a national selection to find their competitor for the 2016 Junior Eurovision Song Contest on their home ground on 20 November. 20 finalists took part performing a cover version song. The winning act was 13 years old, Christina Magrin, who performed a marvellous version of the Donna Summer & Barbra Streisand hit, No More Tears. Voting was 75% jury and 25% televoting.

The song for Christina for the 2016 JESC will be announced at a later date. In the meantime you can see her perform No More Tears below.
The Netherlands will be represented by Kymora, Stefania & Sterre at the 2016 Junior Eurovision Song Contest to be held in Malta later this year. After an audition process it was decided the three girls would fly the Dutch flag this year. Kymora (11), Stefania (13) and Sterre (13) were the three lucky winners from 29 candidates televised on the Junior Songfestival tv show.
The song will be selected later in the year and the girls will work through the summer to perfect their song and staging and presentation.
The selection of the act for Junior Eurovision this year is different than previous years where there were a selection of shows to pick the act and song.

Viktoriya Petryk has released her brand new single and official video for Koldun’ya (Bewitched). The song has a haunting melody and a strong production. It showcases Viktoriya’s talent and crystal clear vocals. The video is very beautifully shot and Viktoriya looks like a model both very elegant and attractive.
Viktoriya appeared in the Ukrainian national selection in 2014 with Love Is Lord and in 2016 with Overload. She also represented Ukraine at the 2008 Junior Eurovision Song Contest with her song Matrosy.
