Saara Alto has stormed straight through to the UK X Factor final after wowing viewers again this weekend. This weekend she performed two songs – All I Want For Christmas (by Mariah Carey) and then Chandelier (by Sia).
In the results show she went direct to the final with the public vote along with the male group 5 After Midnight. The third finalist is Matt Terry who won the sing off against Emily Middlemas.
Saara will now have a busy week where she will be campaigning for more votes for the final next week. She will start with a visit to Helsinki tomorrow.
Saara was twice a runner up in the UMK Eurovision selection shows in Finland in 2011 and 2016.

Saaro Alto has twice finished in second place in the Finland national selection Uuden Musiikin Kilpailu. In 2011 she had Blessed With Love and in 2016 she sang No Fear. She was also a runner up in The Voice of Finland in 2012.
Now Saara has made it through to the live finals of the X Factor in the United Kingdom. Her mentor is Sharon Osbourne. Saara has been through several phases of auditions and was selected as a wildcard for the judges houses. She impressed Sharon with her version of The Winner Takes It All by ABBA.
