On 28 APRIL 2021 the first South-African Independent Artist Music Awards will take place. It will take place at Platteland in Centurion.

ESC Covers will report on some of the nominations (those that have covered a Eurovision song in their careers) and also publish one of their Eurovision covers.

REA LE ROUX is the main organizer of the event and ESC Covers publish one of her Eurovision covers.

The song is called EK IS GEREED (I am ready) and it is a cover of the 2009 Eurovision entry from Andorra – La teve deciscio (get a life) sung by Susanne Georgi.
