Sofia Fisenko will represent Russia at the 2016 Junior Eurovision Song Contest with the song Zhivaja Voda. Let us look back the Russia over the years at the JESC.
Russia first participated in Junior Eurovision in 2005 with Vladislav Krutskikh and his song Doroga k solntsu (The road to the sun) but it was one year later in 2006 when they won the contest with the Tolmachevy Twins and Vesenniy Jazz (Spring Jazz). Anastasiya and Maria Tolmachevy participated for Russia at the 2014 Eurovision Song Contest with Shine and finished in seventh place.
Russia has had many very good songs at the Junior Eurovision but ESC Covers has chosen Lerika and Sensatsiya (Sensation) as our favourite entry.
