Orgesa Zaimi releases English language album

Orgesa Zaimi was on the Eurovision stage as part of the Albanian team as a backing vocalist with Kejsi Tola performing Carry Me In Your Dreams in the 2009 Eurovision Song Contest in Moscow.

Orgesa has since had solo success in Albania and successfully competed in festivals such as Top Fest and Kenga Magjike. For example she performed Sa Keq in the 2014 Kenga Magjike festival and received much acclaim.

Now Orgesa has just released a brand new English language album. It is entitled Brand New Day. She has recorded music videos for the tracks When You Go, I Don’t Want You Back and Every Minute. The songs have a pop/rock feel and are definitely worth checking out. You can view Orgesa’s videos through her own VEVO channel here https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCgQEDaNoMuPrKXs1M63Fd8A

Brand New Day is available through all the regular digital platforms such as iTunes, Amazon, Spotify, etc.

JAN JOHANSEN – BIRTHDAY

With Jan Johansen having a birthday today, it is appropriate to publish his 1995 Eurovision entry – the promo CD, which by the way was also the first promo CD I ever got directly from an artist himself. The song has been covered by several South African artists among them Kurt Darren, Guillaume Willemse, Jaycee Crause, Dominec and Steven Sterling.
