The first semi-final of Melodi Grand Prix 2022 took place in Norway with one act progressing to the final and also one of the automatic finalists showcased.

There were two duels –

• Mira Craig – We Still Here vs Eline Noelia – Ecstasy
• Frode – Black Flowers vs TrollfesT – Dance Like A Pink Flamingo

The Gold Final was –

• Frode
•  Eline Noelia

Frode took the honours and will participate in the grand final on 19 February.

The automatic finalist, Elsie Bay, got to perform her song, Death Of Us.
