Maria Zhilina is throwing off the shackles of her serial Belarus Junior Nation selection entry days and showing off a much more mature sound with a new cover of the Regina Spektor song  ‘Après Moi’ (After me)

Given the recent political tensions in Belarus, the song is an apt and bold choice for Maria to cover as  not only do the lyrics contain a Russian poem written by Boris Pasternak, who also wrote Dr. Zhivago, but they deal with the overthrow of monarchies, the ruling classes and the turmoil that sometimes comes after.
