Marco Mengoni won the 2023 Sanremo festival with the song Due Vite (Two lives). He has accepted the honour to represent Italy at the 2023 Eurovision Song Contest in Liverpool in May.

28 acts performed and Marco received the top votes from the public after the ‘super final’ consisting of five songs.

Marco also sang for Italy at the 2013 Eurovision Song Contest.
