The Malta Eurovision Song Contest selection now has 16 finalists following the semi-final held on 17 February consisting of 22 acts.
In a special show on 18 February the finalists were announced. The show featured a tribute to all previous Maltese Eurovision songs with many live performances including Claudia Faniello, Julie & Ludwig, Chiara and Mary Spiteri.
The 16 acts to the final are –

- Sarah Bonnici – Heaven
- Mark Anthony Bartolo – Serenity
- Denise Mercieca – Boy
- Richard Edwards – Hey Little
- Miriana Conte – Look What You’ve Done Now
- Giada – REVELACIÓN
- Baklava feat. Nicole – Electric Indigo
- Norbert Bondin – How Special You Are
- Raquel – Over You
- Matt BLXCK – Come Around
- Nicole Azzopardi – Into The Fire
- Emma Muscat – Out Of Sight
- Enya Magri – Shame
There is another vote for a wildcard entry to the final for the six acts who did not make it through tonight –

- Derrick Schembri – II
- Jessica Grech – Aphrodisiac
- Rachell Lowell – White Doves

The grand final is tonight, 19 February.
