The Maltese broadcaster, TVM, has revealed the semi-finalists for the Malta Eurovision Song Contest 2022 national selection. 22 acts have been announced.

- Nicole Azzopardi – Into The Fire
- Jessica Muscat – Kaleidoscope
- Miriana Conte – Look What You’ve Done Now
- Emma Muscat – Out Of Sight
- Raquel Galdes Briffa – Over You
- Jade Vella – REVELACIÓN
- Francesca Sciberras – Rise
- Aidan Cassar – Ritmu
- Mark Anthony Bartolo – Serenity
- Enya Magri – Shame
- Malcolm Pisani – We Came For Love
- Rachell Lowell – White Doves
The semi-final and final will take place in February with 16 acts set to qualify for the grand final.
Amongst the semi-finalists are Rachel Lowell (former Malta JESC national finalist and much success in festivals in competitions); Nicole Azzopardi (2010 Malta JESC contestant and former ‘X Factor Malta’ finalist with the group Xtreme and also released several acclaimed singles); Nicole Hammett (pop and opera singer who has made much respected covers of the Eurovision songs of Estonia 2018 and Australia 2019); Jessica Muscat (2018 ESC San Marino) and Emma Muscat (successful recording artist in Italy also after appearing in the ‘Amici’ tv show).
