After 2016, the Latvians have not been able to qualify for the final. Tonight the winner of Supernova will be chosen and it must be clear who should end that series. After a preliminary round last week with fourteen candidates, four dropped out and we will therefore see ten candidates in the final tonight. A jury and televoting determine the result. Last week only an intermediate score was given of the televoting in which the band Sudden Lights received by far the most votes.
