ESC Covers got the sad news of yet another Eurovision related singer passing away. John Lawton of Les Humphries Singers fame… and Sing Sang Song…passed away on 29th June 2021.

The LES HUMPFRIES SINGERS participated in the 1976 Eurovision song contest for Germany with the song SING SANG SONG.

The group had several people singing for them over the years, but the 6 on stage in 1976 were

John Lawton – Jurgen Drews – Peggy Evers – Dave O’Brien – Jimmy Bilsbury – Judy Archer.

Les Humpfries was the conductor.

Ralph Siegel composed the song.
