For the entire month of February, ESC Covers will take every day a South African artist/group/duo on a virtual tour to Europe. We will visit 28 countries.

Day 23 takes us to SWITZERLAND. The SA artists who will be “touring” there, are BURGERD (BOTHA) and ZITA.

Burgerd & Zita covered the 1991 Eurovision entry from SWITZERLAND CANZONE PER TE by Sandra Simo. Burgerd was a member of the group Romanz and Zita a duet partner with Rudi Claase. Burgerd and Zita got married and then recorded this cover. It is called IN LIEFDE TOEGEVOU (Wrapped up in love).

Hopefully during their “tour” they will not just see snow but also some other lovely sites and taste all the delicious chocolates.
