Iceland will not rehearse today and most likely also tomorrow and not perform live in the live broadcast of the second semifinal.
One of the band members of Daði & Gagnamagni has tested positive for Covid-19, so the entire group now has to be quarantined. This past weekend a member of the Icelandic delegation had already tested positive and a second one was added later. The entire delegation was vaccinated before leaving for Rotterdam.
According to Icelandic broadcaster RÚV, it is very uncertain that the group will be present on Saturday if they make it to the Grand Final.
To deal with these kinds of problems, a backup performance has been made, but the group can also choose to broadcast a rehearsal from Ahoy. The latter would now be preferred.
