Norbert Pannemann of INFE IRELAND watched the first dress rehearsal of the Grand final of the 2021 Eurovision song contest for ESC Covers. Here is his report.
The show starts with the traditional Flag parade introducing the 26 finalist countries with music by DJ Pieter Gabriel.
Before the 26 entries the hosts Edsilia, Jan, Nikkie and Chantal welcome all viewers.
This time I am making a prediction, I think the countries in bold text will end on the left side of the scoreboard…
1. Cyprus
2. Albania
3. Israel
4. Belgium
5. Russia
6. Malta
7. Portugal
8. Serbia
9. United Kingdom
10. Greece
11. Switzerland
12. Iceland
13. Spain
14. Moldova
15. Germany
16. Finland
17. Bulgaria
18. Lithuania
19. Ukraine
20. France
21. Azerbaijan
22. Norway
23. Netherlands
24. Italy
25. Sweden

After the 26 songs it’s time for the interval acts:
First we can enjoy the spectacular Music Binds Us performed by Dutch DJ Afrojack, singer Glennis Grace and musician Wulf.
Nikkie treats us to a new Eurovision tutorials and Edsilia takes a couple of Eurovision winners for a hilarious Eurovision ride.
After that we Rock the Roof which features Lenny Kuhr, Teach-In with Getty Kaspers, Sandra Kim, Helena Paparizou, Lordi and Måns Zelmerlöw.
Duncan Laurence makes also his appearance and sings a couple of songs.
Then we have arrived at the most exciting part of the show: the voting..
After watching a great 1st rehearsal of the Grand Final this is the top 10 according to INFE Ireland, but remember: it’s not a prediction, just a personal opinion:
Italy, Belgium, Lithuania, Finland, Norway, Greece, Ukraine, Bulgaria, Iceland, Portugal
Aside from my personal opinion, I predict Lithuania as the winner of the 65th Eurovision Song Contest and Germany will be 26th.
