Destiny wins the 2015 Junior Eurovision for Malta

Destiny Chukunyere has won the 2015 Junior Eurovision Song Contest for Malta with her upbeat soul anthem Not My Soul. In a tense round of voting which went right to the last set of votes from Montenegro, Malta just pipped Armenia to the winning post.

17 competing countries took part in Sofia, Bulgaria –

Malta won the contest for the second time in three years, Armenia were second and Slovenia in third place.

  1. Congratulations to Destiny and to Malta. Good to hear that Armenia was always able to gain second place.
    With Malta’s win and Germany’s selection of Xavier Naidoo, it seems Soul is emerging as a force at ESC. Maybe Guy Sebastian was just a year too early!

  2. Whoops….it seems Germany has decided that Xavier Naidoo will NOT be representing them at Eurovision. The first search for an artist continues…
