Norbert of ESC Dublin to Amsterdam has been busy and reports on a 4th country who will select its entry tonight.
Denmark will choose the entry for Malmö tonight. The Danes have a choice of eight candidates in Dansk Melodi Grand Prix 2024.
The show comes live from Copenhagen and the Danes hope to once again choose an entry that will advance to the grand final. For the past three years, Denmark has been stuck in the semi-finals of the Eurovision Song Contest.
Among the candidates is Basim, who once represented Denmark in 2014 and came ninth in his own country.
In the first voting round, the jury and televoters vote three songs to the super final. The winner will be chosen from those three songs, which we will see again in Malmö in the first part of the second semi-final on Thursday, May 9.
Dansk Melodi Grand Prix 2024 is presented by Sara Bro and Stéphanie Surrugue and can be seen on the Danish broadcaster’s website from 8 p.m.
