Another unusual collaboration by two singers from different continents, Cole van dais (South Africa) and Organ Prawang (Thailand) cover Nostalgija, the 1995 Eurovision song originally performed by Magazine and Lidija. The title of the new song is ‘Dear friend’ and is performed in English and Thai. The video was filmed in Austria (where Organ Prawang was studying at the time) and South Africa, both in a garden setting with old fashioned dresses. Cole went for an old fashioned 18th Contrary dress look, and Organ wore a beautiful evening dress. “It was great collaborating with Organ and a challenge to sing in Thai but I managed it with Organ’s patient guidance”.

The two are actually real life friends and met a few years ago when Organ came to perform in South Africa as part of a production show at the Civic Theatre in Braamfontein. They clicked immediate and became good friends and it was easy for them to visit and spend time together as Organ’s manager rented a property from Colé where they spent a few weeks.

This song is dedicated to all friends who have long distance relationships, and have a lasting friendship, no matter the time that goes by.
