Gaia Gambuzza is a talented 11 years old singer from Malta. She has been singing from the tender age of four, where she attended an international performing arts school in Malta. The teachers saw the potential in Gaia and advised her parents it would be good for her to pursue her singing.

Gaia joined a vocal academy and has gone on to take part in many song competitions, where she received important feedback from the professional juries. Gaia has a passion for musical theatre, the judges advised she should follow this dream!

Gaia has covered songs from Mary Poppins, Oliver Twist and The Descendants and many more . She has since achieved much success in singing competitions in Malta and abroad. Gaia has won nine Grand Prix awards and many Overall Winner’ prizes and also  Best Performer, Best Voice, Best Interpretation, and various first place titles.

Gaia has a dual citizenship (Maltese and Italian). She attends the Italian Music Academy in Rome on a regular basis. Chiara delighted the crowd, which consisted of not only her Eurovision fans but also a large number of Maltese fans, with a number of her most well known hits.  She opened the night with the song she described as ‘her everything’, her 1998 Eurovision entry “The One That I Love” .  This was followed by her 2005 Eurovision entry “Angel”.

She also performed a few other songs, such “It’s Raining Men”, “Forget Forgetting Me” and “Zarbun” as well as her 2009 Eurovision entry “What If We”.

The audience loved her, and it was clear that Chiara had a great time performing for the crowd.  Chiara is certainly welcome in London whenever she wants to come back.
