EUROVISION 2019 – GRAND FINAL – UNITED KINGDOM

Ida Andia of Romania is looking at the big 5 and their chances in the Grand final of the Eurovision 2019 song contest.

Maybe Michael Rice has a voice BIGGER THAN ours but the song is not great. The chorus of Bigger than us is strong, but I think that the country will be on the right side in the Grand Final. It is not my cup of tea.

EUROVISION 2019 – GRAND FINAL- ISRAEL

Having finished looking at the 35 songs in semi final 1 and 2 and predicting which 10 songs from each semi final will make it to the Grand Final, Ida Andia from Romania now shifted her attention to the big 5 and the host country who are directly in the final and look at their chances to do well.

The first country that I choose from the countries who are pre-qualified in the Grand Final is Israel, the host country.
Kobi has such a strong voice and his song matches perfect with it. I love the title – HOME – Kobi Marimi will perform this song on HOME soil. I love the lyrics too. I think that the country who won last year, will be this year on the left hand side.

SEMI FINAL TWO 2019 – ALBANIA

Ida Andia from Romania has almost finished her discussion of the 18 songs in the 2019 Eurovision song contest from semi final 2. Today she looks at Albania.

I really appreciate Albania when, like most years, sends a song in their own language, Albanian. Jonida Maliqi has a very strong voice and is a popular artist in her country. She sings Ktheju tokes. I love the song, the instrumental, but unfortunately I do not see her qualifying. The lyrics transmit an important message – the return of those who have gone to other countries. The song is more touching because it is in Albanian, so the population of Albania, no matter where they are currently living, will surely understand the message.

  4. Lina Hedlund – Victorious
  5. Bishara – On My Own

There was great entertainment between the songs with Benjamin Ingrosso performing with Felix Sandman to open the show and a great surprise that Charlotte Perreli performed her 1999 winning Eurovision song Take Me To Your Heaven and then Dana International sang Diva, the 1998 winning song for Israel. Together they sang a new composition Diva To Diva.

John Lundvik took the top marks from the International Jury and also the Public vote.

One interesting fact about John Lundvik is that he is one of the composers of the United Kingdom Eurovision song this year, Bigger Than Us, by Michael Rice.

You can see John Lundvik’s winning song for Sweden below and also the hot duet and including their winning ESC songs by Dana and Charlotte.
