Eurovision South Africa has started with the candidates in the AFRI  FRIEND AWARDS, it is the third country – FINLAND, the second category – AFRIKAANS COVERS – and the first candidate LA DOLCE VITA by DOMENIC (Reynecke) from South Africa.

LA DOLCE VITA is the Afrikaans version of the 1989 Eurovision entry from Finland La dolce vita sung by Anneli Saaristo in Finnish.
