Wim Ravell was born as Wim Peelman 59 years ago. In 1989 he became the first winner of ‘The Soundmixshow’ with Jackie by Scott Walker. After this victory he had a couple of hits in Belgium.
In 1993 Wim Ravell took part in the selection for the Eurovision Song Contest with the song Alles Doen. However, he was not selected, Barbara Dex was allowed to go to the song contest that year with Iemand als jij.
