The popular singer from Belarus, Svetlana Agarval, has been awarded a special honour from the World Book of Records (London).
Svetlana has a unique sound and performs Indian Bollywood music. The honour is in respect of the Outstanding World Performers and is for her contribution to cultural development of relations between Belarus and India. Most of the songs are sung in the Hindi language.
Svetlana is overwhelmed by this award. She said “This award was unexpected for me, but extremely pleasant! I have sung Indian songs since my childhood, worked hard so that my big hobby has became professional creativity. And I’m very glad that it was noticed by world-class specialists!”
The official presentation of the award to Svetlana will take place in Mauritius.
Svetlana has also toured cities in India promoting her music and culture to a great reception. She has also become an ambassador for Indian beauty products.
