The official Junior Eurovision website today announced that Armenia has withdrawn from this years contest in Poland, citing issues related to the introduction of martial law in the region as a result of the ongoing conflict in Nagorno-Karabakh (Artsakh) as the reason.
Further information was also revealed on the official Aremenia in Eurovision Facebook page, where we learnt that singer Maléna Fox had been selected and a song recorded.
On her Instagram page, Maléna posted “Considering the message of the song, our team and me have decided to release the song in the nearest future. Stay tuned, subscribe to my youtube channel for upcoming news.”
You can hear Maléna perform an R&B mashup, posted earlier this year on her YouTube channel below.

quite sad
Interesting to read this news and sad to see Armenia not taking part this year. Let us hope for a peaceful resolution as soon as possible. Also, good luck to Maléna for the future. Hope she will get another break.
