Angelino from Malmo is an artist who touches and inspires people will compete with the song “Teardrops” in the Swedish Eurovision Song Contest on February 15th.
Angelino, 26 years old from Malmö, is an artist who, with his powerful voice and emotional presence, creates music that goes straight to the heart. For him, music is more than just an expression – it is a safe place, a bubble where he shares his innermost thoughts and feelings with listeners. Since his debut with the EP Livingroom Sessions in 2021, Angelino has quickly established himself as an artist to be reckoned with. His international collaboration “With or Without Me” with Lucky Luke and Delaney Jane marked the start of a career that spans both Swedish and global scenes.
In 2022, Angelino made an acclaimed debut in Melodifestivalen with the personal song “The End” , which not only became an audience favorite but also symbolized a new chapter in his life as an artist. Now, three years later, he is once again on the Melodifestivalen stage, this time in Västerås with the song ” Teardrops “ . The song, which is written by Melodifestivalen veterans and previous winners Tusse Chiza, Joy Deb, Linnea Deb and Jimmy “Joker” Thörnfeldt , bears Angelino’s signature – a strong emotional connection and a message that reaches all the way to the heart.
New for this year is that all the songs will be released the day before the competition, so on February 14th you can download and listen to “Teardrops” via Dub music platform.
But Angelino is making an impression far beyond Sweden’s borders. As a songwriter, he competes in both Estonia’s and Poland’s national finals. In Estonia with the song “The Last To Know” , performed by Elysa, and in Poland with “Pray” , performed by Kuba.
With his music, Angelino strives to create an emotional community where everyone feels seen, heard and less alone. His authenticity, heart and unique voice make him one of Sweden’s most exciting artists right now.
