In a new series we will be looking at EUROVISION selection songs from GERMANY from 1978 onwards. The idea is to highlight these songs but also look at other songs these artists brought to the table.

The eight one is PAOLA (DEL MEDICO) and her selection song from 1979 is called VOGEL DER NACHT.

In 1980 she released a single called AM JENEM TAG MEIN FREUND. This is a cover of an old song from Russia but made a big hit in English as THOSE WERE THE DAYS for MARY HOPKIN.
