Catarina Pereira competed in the Portuguese Festival da Canção finals in 2010 with Canta Por Mim and in 2014 with Mea Culpa. She finished in second place with both songs. Catarina is a firm fan favourite and would be sincerely welcomed back to try for Portugal again to compete at the Eurovision Song Contest.

Catarina has just recorded her version of Jessie J’s Masterpiece. She has filmed a video to accompany the song that shows of her very capable dance skills. The video is produced by Luis Cunha, directing and editing by Bruno Moreira, The Director of Photography and Post-production is Luis Cunha with choreography by Francisca Lima. The dancers with Catarina are Francisca Lima & Andreia Carvalho. Make-up and hair is by Catarina Moreira.
