The 2024 Eurovision song contest took place yesterday evening in Malmo Sweden.

NEMO from SWITZERLAND with THE CODE won. After the jury vote, he had a substantial lead over the other contenders as one country after the other awarded them their 12 points.

BABY LASAGNA from CROATIA came second. It was the bookmakers overwhelming favourite to win but it did not get enough jury votes.

In third place was UKRAINE , then FRANCE and ISRAEL.

On the bottom end of the scoreboard we found NORWAY last and AUSTRIA second last, quite surprising.

GERMANY did surprisingly well, especially with the juries but the country also got some televoting, which they did not really get in the last couple of years.

There was a ZERO point from the public, that went to the UNITED KINGDOM in the televoting.
