It is now 1 days to the 2024 Eurovision final in Malmo, Sweden. For  20 days running I will highlight one song from each of the last 20 years and I have started with 2004. Now with 1 day to go it this the 2023 Eurovision .

The 2023 Eurovision song contest could not take place in UKRAINE due to the war. The hosting was given to the UNITED KINGDOM who came second and they awarded it to LIVERPOOL. LOREEN secured a second victory with TATTOO and put SWEDEN tied with IRELAND for the most victories, namely 7.

2023 probably is the year with the most songs I dislike, something like 16-17 songs battled for a place in my bottom 5. And 2023 also did not provide a single song that got a 10, 9 or 8 score from me. My winner, with a score of 7 is QUEEN OF KINGS by ALESSANDRA from NORWAY.
