It is now 2 days to the 2024 Eurovision final in Malmo, Sweden. For  20 days running I will highlight one song from each of the last 20 years and I have started with 2004. Now with 2 days to go it this the 2022 Eurovision .

The 2022 Eurovision song contest took place in TURIN, ITALY.  It was a runaway victory for UKRAINE. It was after Russia invaded the country and especially from televoters, they all gave their support to Ukraine by voting for their entry. The song is called STEFANIA by KALUSH ORCHESTRA. Just like the previous year, the winner is my last place on the year’s rankings.

I again like the entry from POLAND at lot. This time it is called RIVER by OCHMAN. At least it qualified in 2022.
