THOMAS G:SON is a well-known composer from SWEDEN and especially when it comes to the Eurovision song contest.

THOMAS is having a birthday today and ESC COVERS want to wish him well.

He has written many selection songs for various countries as well as for Sweden.

He also wrote several actual entries for Sweden, and among them two Eurovision winners – 2012 Euphoria for Loreen and 2023 Tattoo for Loreen as well. He also wrote entries for other countries.

It is impossible to give attention to every song but as Eurovision 2024 will be in MALMO, Sweden, ESC Covers look back to 2013 when Eurovision last happened in Malmo. Thomas then wrote the song WATERFALL for GEORGIA and it was performed by NODI TATISHVILI & SOPHIE GELOVANI.

Roy van der Merwe met Thomas one morning at his hotel over breakfast to get him to approve the Afrikaans lyrics for Waterfall which was to be recorded by KARLIEN VAN JAARSVELD & EDEN as UITKLOPHOU (Knockout punch). It became the 6the biggest seller of that year in South Africa.
