ANITA THALLAUG PASSED AWAY

Anita Thallaug (14 February 1938 – 20 March 2023) was a Norwegian actress and singer.
Anita Thallaug participated in the Norwegian national final for the Eurovision Song contest in 1962, 1963 and in 1966. In 1963 the song Solherv won and a jury of experts chose Nora Brockstedt to sing the song but due to a packed schedule she refused and Anita Thallaug was appointed to sing in London. At the contest Norway finished in 13th and last place.
It was the first of Norway’s zero points at Eurovision.
