For the entire month of February, ESC Covers will take every day a South African artist/group/duo on a virtual tour to Europe plus. We will visit 28 countries.

Day 6 takes us to GEORGIA. The SA artists “touring” there are KARLIEN VAN JAARSVELD & EDEN.

Karlien & Eden covered the 2013 Eurovision entry from GEORGIA, WATERFALL by Nodi Tatishvili & Sophie Gelovani.  The song was composed by Thomas Gson. I actually met up with Thomas in his hotel  in Malmo during breakfast to get him to approve the Afrikaans lyrics. Karlien and Eden’s Afrikaans cover is called UITKLOPHOU (Knock-out punch). The song was a very big hit and the Youtube video made by someone overseas is the most watched video on their channel.
