For the entire month of February, ESC Covers will take every day a South African artist/group/duo on a virtual tour to Europe plus. We will visit 28 countries.

Day 5 takes us to ITALY. The SA artists “touring” there are MICHELLE KUYPER & KEVIN LEO.

Michelle & Kevin  covered the 1984 Eurovision entry from Italy, I TRENI DI TOZEUR by Alice & Franco Battiato. The original Italian entry is well loved among Eurovision fans. Michelle & Kevin’s Afrikaans cover is called VLINDER VLERKE (Butterfly wings). Michelle’s manager Rudolf Willemse wrote the Afrikaans lyrics.
