Today we are highlighting the 18th Eurovision star doing a cover of a NON EUROVISION song.

It is UDO JURGENS of Austria. He died in December 2014 but not after he left a lot of songs.

He represented Austria no less than three times at the Eurovision song contest – 1964, 1965 and 1966. The third time he won the competition with the song MERCI CHERIE.

The cover I have picked is  a song made famous by ELVIS PRESLEY called KISS ME QUICK. Udo covered it in German but the title remained the same.
