The second round of the 2015 Supernova competition has taken place in Latvia. 10 more acts participated and a combination of televoting and expert jury decided what four songs would make it to the next phase.
The 10 songs and acts were –
- The Stones – Free Your Mind
- Signe – Sweet Girl
- Mārtiņš Ruskis & Ginta Krievkalna – Debesis
- Ornella – Angel
- Rihards Bērziņš – Your Eyes
- Euphony – Home
- Riga Metro – High Heels
- Katrīna Bindere – Run To You
- Markus Riva – Take Me Down
- Aminata – Love Injected
The four acts to qualify were Rihards Bērziņš and Euphony via the jury and Markus Riva and Aminita by televoting.

I wonder how many new songs are going around over EUROVISION period? These small countries like LATVIA, ESTONIA, ICELAND, MALTA, etc seems to have more new songs in this period that the big SA music business has in a year. If you look at the current SA charts you find CD’s dominating like ARTIST A sings songs of DON WILLIAMS or artist B sings songs of ROY ORBISON or artist CD sings songs of LEONARD COHEN.
