The 2017 Malta JESC show produced some amazing perfomances by talented youngsters. Rianne Demicoli gave a great show with her interpretation of Satellite (Lena – 2010 ESC Germany winner). She opened the show with a lively and enthusiastic performance where she showcased her talented vocals.
Rianne was born on 26 July 2003 and started with dance lessons at just seven years old at Dancel Dance Studio and she proved herself as very talented jazz dancer. Her family is involved in the entertainment business and Rianne started singing at the age of 12 and received vocal coaching from the established Maltese singer, Ina Robinich.
In 2016 Rianne had a big success by winning the Tifhira lil Malta (Shine Singers) Festival with an original Maltese song Xewqat in-Nanna’ (Grandmothers’ wishes). The song was composed by Rita Pace and Dominic Cini (who is Rianne’s uncle).
Rianne was recently selected as one of the 10 lucky singers to take part in the 2017 Malta JESC national selection. This is only the beginning for Rianne. Look out for her in the future.
